My Projects

Furni-True is finally completed, our store is ready to launch and provide service. Furni True is an online store that sells premium furniture. they sell a high quality furniture from the categories of:

• Table
• Nightstand
• Sofa
• Chair

Anyone that entered our site can see the home page(and directed there first),then see all the item, sorted by each category or choose to see all in the list, and see the about us page. But if the user wants to buy furniture, or view items/ shopping cart, or selected the login button, the user will be directed to the login page.

On the Loading Page, the user can either login with the registered account or choose signup, where they are directed to the signup page. after done with the signup or login, the user will be directed to the home page, with the difference that the user that signed up must login again. Admin must login from the same login page in order to go to the admin main page.

After the login, the user can freely explore the store to purchase the things they want, which all can be seen on the shopping cart. They must view the item first before buying them, in order for precaution do that the user will not buy the things they do not want. On the shopping cart, the user can see the individual price and quantity of each item that is bought, and the grand total the user have to pay for the items. The user may choose to either remove the item from the cart or to buy all of them.

The user may also go to their account, to see the detail of their account. they can choose to logout on that page, so their session will end and they will be redirected to the main menu again. If the user have some item in the shopping cart during the logout, the cart will be emptied

The project is to create an online web store that provides a simple and similar usage and functions like any other stores online. This website will allow users to purchase any of the furniture that is being sold in the store that is set by the admins. The store will be selling furniture in the following category: chairs, tables, beds, sofas, cupboards, and night stand.

When the user opens the website, they will first enter a minimalist designed website, that only contains the logo of the company and 4 large buttons, leading to 4 major parts of our website.

Every other page used for the project will always has the company logo, a text menu bar, and a navigation bar, determined if you are a member or an administrator, on the top of the page. On the About Page, it will contains details about our project, its purpose, a link to our project websites from the binusian blogpost, our email addresses, and other ways to contact us.

On the Buy page, it will lead to another website that allows the users to see the available products that are being sold. Below the navigation bar, there will be another bar that allows the users to view either all of the products or by their category. The products that are being sold will only display their picture and name. To know more about the product,  select it to open to another page that contains details about the page. The total amount the users have to pay in the shopping cart will be displayed on the right of the website.

On the shopping cart, it will display the list of all the stuff that the user has bought in the store. The format will be the same as the buy page, but the difference is that there will be a minus sign beside each product instead of a plus to remove them from the list. The button on the bottom of the page will complete the transaction.

For the login page, every other people will be directed here if they never login and opened another page. This page will ask the user to login and signup. If the user selects signup, they will be directed to another page to input the detail of the user. Once after login/signup, they will be send to the buy page.

If they login as admin, the navigation tool will be changed for admin purposes. The admin will be directed to the stock page, product page, and the members page. Where on the members page, they are able to set other members as admin or delete their account. On the stock list, they determine the number of stocks of the products that they are selling. On the product page, this allows the user to make updates on their storage list.
